Parental Gate & Family Safeguards

MiaLoo includes a parental gate designed to require adult participation before a billing page is displayed. This page explains the family-safeguard concept used in the App.

1. How it works

Users may explore the app and certain sample content free of charge. When a user taps on locked content or a premium feature, MiaLoo first shows a parental gate. The parental gate requires completion of a simple check intended for an adult before the app can continue to the billing screen.

2. Why we use it

• to reduce accidental access by children to payment or subscription screens;
• to encourage adult participation in any purchase decision;
• to support a family-oriented use model for the app.

3. Scope

All purchases in MiaLoo are intended to be shown only after the parental gate step. The parental gate is not a substitute for active parental supervision, but it is an additional safeguard built into the product flow.
